Goddess Pose

UTKASANA KONASANA  This powerful squat pose is also referred to as the fierce angel.  Get in touch with feminine energies and begin to balance.

Benefits:

  • Strengthens the shoulders, arms and, upper back.
  • Strengthens the calves, quadriceps, inner thighs and core.
  • Stretches the hips, groin and, chest.
  • Connects the upper and lower energy centers.
  • Draws energy in through the root chakra.
  • Connects with divine feminine energy. 
  • During pregnancy this pose helps prepare the body.

This pose opens up the lower two Chakras. As the legs widen energy is drawn into the Muladhara and Svadhistana.
